Kinetic Riveted Wooden Ring

Description

Riveting is a way of connecting materials by placing and securing a metal pin through holes in those materials and flattening the ends. In this case, sterling silver sheet has been riveted onto a piece of reclaimed wood and then connected to the square wire band. The space between the pieces leaves room for the ring to swing around 360 degrees. Wearing this ring is like having a little piece of mobile architecture on your finger!
